Elcir's industrial activities revolve mainly but not exclusively around architectural and custom made woodworks with an emphasis on exotic woods and veneers. Its expertise also includes the manufacturing of fire rated wooden doors as per UL or BS standards, lift and slide wood windows, and rolling shutters. Manufacturing capabilities also include stainless steel and aluminum works, blinds and furnishing. A reliable network of subcontractors enables Elcir to complement the finishing trades with upholstery, glassworks, and marble works. In addition, the company offers high-end custom-designed furniture as well as office and outdoor furniture. Elcir works in close collaboration with several European, American and Asian suppliers in order to always offer the latest or fittest equipments. This wide scope of products makes Elcir one of the very few companies that deliver turnkey projects to worldwide clients.

Job Description

·        Is responsible for achieving a semi annual sales objective. For the next 6 months such semi annual sales objective would be of $1.5 million. Job description includes commercial work for award of new contracts and contract management of existing ones

·        Is responsible for filling and managing the adequate Human Resources to be managed from Qatar and to determine which items will be designed and which ones will be manufactured in Lebanon v/s Qatar
·        Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
·        Control local staff including their productivity, attitude and payroll. Direct the employee assessment process
·        Is responsible for Procurement of items to be purchased from Qatar (purchase above $1000 requiring Lebanon authorization) and items to be purchased from Lebanon
·        Explore options for manufacturing in Qatar and control costs, productivity and quality.
·        Oversee day-to-day operations including design, manufacturing and installation activities in Qatar
·        Is responsible for meeting budgets and optimizing expenses
·        Supervise accounting department activities
·        Make sure of compliance with Qatari law including audit requirements, payroll reporting, health and safety regulations and reporting to Qatari Ministry of Finance and Labor
·        Manage relationship with sponsor and make sure of its benefit to the company
·        Set policies and processes
·        Prepare regular reports for upper management
·        Provide solutions to issues (profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
 
Wood Works experience is a must
