Work as part of the PR & EVENTS team (which is a part of the wider Communications Department) to create engaging and memorable experiences and events across the MENA region to drive Sephora’s awareness and desirability.
Deliver multi-branded and mono-branded events, disruptive seedings and cultivate media relations and brand visibility in digital publications. Ensure the strategy execution is suited for each market/region with the right prios and KPI’s in mind.
This role reports into the PR & EVENTS Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the PR & Events manager to develop and execute PR campaigns, events and seeding Kits in line with the brands priorities, editorial calendar and animations
· Plan and execute Sephora’s seeding strategy for KOLs – develop creative PR kits to encourage content creation, coverage, and high visibility
· Manage the mono and multi-branded PR events for select brands and for Sephora retailer activations – (venue selection, branding, gifting, sourcing the right suppliers, managing brand team requests, guestlists, speakers and reporting on event)
· Work closely with Social and Content teams to ensure the best interactive, experiences are set-up in events and masterclasses
· Work closely with the CRM team to ensure VIP clients receive access to select experiences such as masterclasses, celeb PA’s and other privileges
· Working closely with agencies, brand teams and internal functions to execute the PR strategy, and deliver the set PR KPI’s
· Analise and monitor PR campaigns and report results. Ensure benchmarks are in place
· Build and maintain relationships with key and relevant media members and influencers
· General administration including management of the press budget
· Support Copywriter with the writing of press releases, ensure key details are well conveyed and manage the distribution to media
· Track company and campaign mentions across digital and social PR platforms.
· Handling incoming enquiries for information from various members of the media.
· Ensuring press releases fit the Sephora Middle East image and relay the appropriate message
· Support with arranging competitions to promote current and new products.
· Use a variety of channels (TV, press, internet etc.) to maximize company exposure
· Advise company on handling any sensitive public issues to preserve reputation
· Assess opportunities for sponsorships and other partnerships and manage relations
