Prior to any works commencing, careful planning and coordination with the main contractor along with full intrusive surveys are carried out to ensure safety, timescales, environmental and any restrictions are resolved in to allow an uninterrupted progress until completion. For each and every project JMCI will prepare and submit an array of documents which include fully detailed: Site-Specific Method Statements, Construction Demolition schedule Phase, Environmental Plan and Site Waste Management Plans.

Job Description

· Perform technical duties related to the purchasing of services, supplies, and equipment in accordance with established policies and regulations.
· Obtaining quotation for enquired materials
· Preparing the price and delivery comparison for obtained quotations
· Prepares and processes purchasing forms such as purchase forms
· Obtain proper material documentations and information
· Purchase of materials required for infrastructure works
· Purchase of materials required for heavy equipment maintenance
· Resolve problems and issues arising from purchase of services, supplies and equipment with internal and external clients
· Co-ordination between supplier and site
· Co-ordination with all departments within the company, especially workshop, in order to improve the purchasing department’s understanding of internal department requirements
· Follow up of orders placed with vendors
· Providing freight instruction for the dispatch of ordered goods upon consultation with the logistics manager and Workshop manager
· Locating and selecting vendors for various components
· Assist in the development of purchasing budgets and price forecast
· Maintain central filling system in accordance with IMS and ISO standards
· Prepares and Updating LPO’s
· Printing of the monthly stock mutation
· Communicate JMCI’s QHSE requirements and expectations to potential subcontractors/vendors and service providers.
· Communicate with JMCI’s storekeepers and workshop supervisors.
· Monitor whether selected subcontractor/vendors and service providers are in compliance with JMCI’s QHSE requirements and expectations.
· Maintaining supplier’s master list and supplier’s evaluation form in line with the company standards and policy
