Job Description


Role purpose This role has overall accountability for sales and customer service and P&L for HIA Airport. It includes retail sales management of onsite stores. The role will lead Team Leaders & Sales Consultants in HIA Airport. Person will be responsible for managing and coaching their direct reports to achieve revenue and profitability targets. The role will drive sales, customer service and manage the P&L, including all revenues from above locations, and all direct retail and support costs. Key accountabilities • Manage walk up retail KPIs including ATMs • Managing profitability / EBITDA • Support in airport relationship management • Day-to-day account management of corporate customers • Manage product launches and promotions • Accountable for inventory and margins • Execute operations in line with standard operating procedures and coach staff on operating disciplines - adhere to Company and location policy and procedures, including Audit, Risk, Health & Safety, Security and Retail requirements • Support the GM in financial analysis, reporting and planning • Manage communication for all site staff and management • Undertake Company training within required timescales & of the entire team • Share best and implement good practice with other RSM’s Retail Delivery & Excellence • Supporting GM in maximising the profitability of HIA by managing projects that increase productivity, decrease complexity and ensure compliance within all store • Review and analyse the performance of TL’s & SC’s and support improvement actions as well as making sure that these measurements are implemented to drive growth and ensure accountability • Streamline and standardize retail operation standards in order to enhance operation efficiency and improve retail productivity • Represent Qatar within RRT, sharing and learning best practices • Store Visual Excellence • C.A.R.E – Observations and Action Plan implementation along with L&D team • Optimum utilization of headcount, efficiency of roster, review shift patters as per the changing needs of the business, overtime cost review & any other cost saving initiative • Leading the Talent Management program & Leadership Bench strength for responsible areas • Take ownership of new initiatives to ensure delivery on time and within the agreed objective
