Shift Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Qatar for a: Shift Electrical Engineer The Incumbent for this position shall be a graduate engineer in electrical with over eight years working experience. Preferred experience is with high voltage sub-stations (220 KV and lower voltage GIS down to 33KV) as switching engineer attached with large power generating stations. The candidate shall coordinate with M/S KHARAMAA for switching authorization for the shift electrical engineer for all bays within RLC for which M/S Kahramaa authorization is required within the first one year of mobilization to the base location.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma holders ( Three Year Diploma) with valid switching authorization from Kahramaa may be considered. This position is for shift coverage for the electrical control room in common seawater facility with responsibility for operation of disffrent sub-stations under Ras Laffan city operations department. Candidates experience in electrical fault analysis with modern power electronic systems including frequency controlled variable speed drive systems will be an added advantage.
